Delapre lake is one of the oldest gravel pits along the Nene Valley. The lake is surrounded by mature trees and is within the grounds of the Historic Delapre Abbey. The lake is 34 acres in size and contains large Carp and shoals of tench and bream which can be fished for through the year on a membership basis or pre booked day ticket from Wednesday at 5pm until friday at 12 noon. these are priced at £20 per booking and limited to 4 people per week so you will have plenty of space to enjoy.
The fishing is best suited to Specimen anglers looking for a challenge and wishing to do their own thing. You will be fishing for some of the oldest carp in Northamptonshire running to 40lbs so the rewards are there for those willing to put the effort in. Over the last 4 years our stocking programme has introduced a further 110 Carp which will be from low doubles to mid 20s. Add to that the Large shoals of bream and tench a good days sport can be had.
Located within a few miles of the M1 at junction 15 and directly off the A45 at Northampton, we could not be easier to get to.

From the M1 junction 15, follow A45 eastbound and exit signposted Brackmills. The lake is situated behind the Marriott hotel down a tarmac road and has a large hardstanding car park next to the lake.
